base, Onyx Peelable is a great wax for male clients. With the added benefits of Eugenol, Vegan Onyx Peelable helps to reduce inflammation which can occur during the waxing process.
Designed to remove coarse, dark hair, as well as fine, downy fuzz, this incredibly versatile wax can be used for all areas of the body, including sensitive areas like the face and underarms, but can also be used for larger areas such as the back, chest and abdomen. Better still, our new Onyx Peelable can also be used for male intimate waxing. With advanced polymer technology ingrained within its design, Onyx ‘shrink-wraps’ around the hairs of the body rather than adhering to the skin, meaning there is virtually no skin pull.
Exceptional fluidity means Onyx wax applies smoothly and thinly, with none of the ‘strings’ or tackiness common with natural resin waxes. On top of all of this Outback Onyx is also vegan-friendly as it contains no beeswax or other animal byproduct and uses up to 40% less product than traditional hot wax making it economical and extremely easy to use! It dries in 6-10 seconds.

Directions For Use
- Outback Onyx is recommended for tough hair and male facial waxing, and for male intimate waxing services.
- Place the beads in a suitable wax warmer and heat until melted around the edges (approximately 52°-56°C or no. 8-9 on an Outback heater). Outback Onyx should stay fairly solid in the middle of the pot, depending on the configuration of the heater and will have the consistency of thick honey around the outside when at the correct temperature.
- Clean and prepare the skin using Gel Cleanser and a light spritz of Botanical Body Oil.
- Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of wax onto the area to be treated, following the direction of hair growth.
- Allow a short period to cool. Holding the skin taut, remove the dried wax in the opposite direction to hair growth.
- After waxing, clean the treated area with Gel Cleanser and finish with Bush Balm to soothe and hydrate.
- Caution: for professional use only. Overheated wax can cause burns. Only heat the wax in a professional wax warmer and always test the temperature before full application to ensure it is not too hot. Do not use on damaged or sensitised skin. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Onyx works best at approximately 52°-56°C. It should have the consistency of thick honey once it’s reached the correct temperature. Always work from the melted wax around the outer edges of your wax inner, leaving the centre of your wax solid. Stirring the unmelted beads into the wax can alter the consistency.
- For best results, we recommend that you use the Outback Organics pre-and post-depilation products as they do not contain mineral oil or alcohol which can reduce the effectiveness of hair removal when you use wax.
